Ace Trap, a multi-talented independent singer and songwriter from Zambia, has just released a new single titled “Just So You Know.” This marks his first release as an independent artist after leaving Jay Rox’s label, Headphone Music. While under Headphone Music, Ace Trap was known for delivering hits like “It’s Not Cheating” and his EP “Broke Boys,” which featured nine tracks. His departure from the label came amidst a larger fallout, where several artists, including F Jay from Urban Hype and former Nexus Music signee Trinah South, also exited, leaving Umusepela Chile as one of the few remaining under the label.
“Just So You Know” is a collaboration featuring Triple M, a rapper and singer possibly affiliated with All Stars Entertainments Music and Jerahyo Inc., and another artist named Mayten. Triple M has recently been in the spotlight due to a social media controversy involving his former friend Aqualaskin, who accused him of destroying his relationship by allegedly being involved with his baby mama, Tina Chilufya.
