Pilato, a Copperbelt Province-based rapper has released his latest track titled “Mwangale Bwino.” This song marks his first official release for July 2024. Pilato, who is signed under Kopala Swag Music and Alpha Entertainments Music, has earned a reputation as one of the most consistent artists in Zambia. His real name, Fumba Chama, is known to many, especially due to his involvement in both music and politics.

Pilato’s career took a significant turn in 2016 when he entered the political arena by openly mocking the then PF Government. This bold move led to his arrest and detention at Chimbokaila Prison, from which he was later released. Despite these challenges, Pilato continued to create music that resonated with his audience. Some of his notable songs include “Machende Yesu,” “Yes I Do,” “What If,” and “Mr Speaker,” each reflecting his unique style and outspoken nature.
