Headphone Music, in collaboration with Loud House, proudly presents the highly anticipated Extended Play (EP) titled “Social Introvert” by Zambian multi-talented hit singer, rapper, videographer, and record producer Jay Rox. As the founder and CEO of Headphone Music, Jay Rox has teamed up with one of Zambia’s most consistent male hit singers and rappers, Willz Mr Nyopole. This EP marks one of the most surprising and unexpected collaborations of the year, considering the well-known tension between these two artists.
In KB’s Diary series “My Diary 7,” Willz Mr Nyopole revealed that he and Jay Rox had previously worked on a collaborative album. However, the project was never completed because Jay Rox canceled it abruptly, leaving Willz with some unfinished songs. This new EP, “Social Introvert,” might shed light on what happened and how they reconciled to create this remarkable body of work.
The EP features two other Zambian artists: Dimpo Williams and The Bwoy Golden. The tracks were produced by some of Zambia’s top-notch producers, including Shinko Beats, DJ C.O.B, Miles Came Along from XYZ Entertainments, Tivo Shikapwasha, Chase Iyan, Jay Rox, Crown, and Koffi Mix. This collaboration is their second project together since their first, “Ninalakwa,” released a decade ago in 2014.
